I've been building software for over 5 years and working with AI tools daily since 2022. I started Free AI Agents after spending too many hours debugging the same ChatGPT and Cursor errors that have no clear documentation — only vague forum threads. Every guide on this site comes from direct experience with the error.
Why I built this
In 2023, I was using ChatGPT, Cursor, and Claude daily for development work. Every week I ran into the same errors — rate limits, context window failures, broken autocomplete — and every time I had to dig through Reddit threads and GitHub issues to find a fix. Most answers were buried, outdated, or just wrong.
I started writing down the fixes that actually worked. Then I realized other developers and non-technical users were hitting the same walls. Free AI Agents is the resource I wish existed when I started — direct, root-cause-first, and kept up to date as AI tools evolve.
What we publish
We publish two types of content:
- Troubleshooting guides — step-by-step fixes for specific errors in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Midjourney, DeepSeek, and 10+ other AI tools. Each guide starts with the root cause (not just symptoms) and gives you the fastest path to a fix, verified against the actual error.
- AI agent prompts — 150+ specialist agent configurations for ChatGPT and Claude. Each agent is a carefully written system prompt that turns a generic AI into a specialist: a growth hacker, a code reviewer, a sales coach, a UX researcher. These are free to copy and use immediately, no signup required.
Every piece of content is written and reviewed by me personally. I don't publish guides for errors I haven't reproduced myself, and I don't publish agent prompts I haven't tested in ChatGPT or Claude.

Editorial standards
- Root cause first: Every guide explains why the error happens before describing the fix. Understanding the cause prevents the same error from reappearing.
- Personally verified: I reproduce each error in a test environment before writing the guide. If I can't reproduce it, I don't publish it.
- No affiliate links in guides: Fix guides are never influenced by sponsorships or affiliate commissions. The recommended fix is always the one that works, not the one that pays.
- Updated when tools change: AI tools update constantly. When an update changes how an error works or is fixed, I update the guide. Outdated fixes are marked clearly.
- Free, always: Every guide and agent prompt is free with no paywall, no email capture, and no account required.
Founded
Free AI Agents was founded in early 2025 and has since grown to cover 13 AI tools with over 85 troubleshooting guides and 150+ AI agent prompts. The site is independently run, with no outside funding or corporate backing.
Advertising
